    Former professional footballer, 2x A-League champion & the first Indigenous captain of the Socceroos.

    Jade North is one of Australia’s most decorated footballers, as the first Indigenous captain of the Socceroos, a two-time Olympian, two-time A-League champion, and the recipient of the NAIDOC Sportsman of the Year in 2016.

     

    Highly experienced having played for ten clubs across five countries, Jade is a proud Indigenous Australian who has represented the green & gold on 41 occasions. Jade’s achievements extend to include playing for the A-League All Stars, Japanese Cup Winner, OFC Nations Cup Winner for Australia, 2x National Soccer League Championships and runner-up at the FIFA u17 World Cup.

     

    Away from football, Jade has launched an Indigenous football program called “Kickin with a Cuz” focused on reaching out to young boys and girls through football and inspire them to make better life choices. Jade is passionate about helping disadvantaged groups and advocating for better education and management of mental health. He speaks passionately about leadership, instilling inspiration, and mental health awareness, and does so through his role as Social Responsibility Manager & Indigenous Participation at Hutchinson Builders.
