Tim Hodge is a three-time Paralympian, three-time World Champion, Commonwealth Games Champion and multi-time World-Record Holder.
Most recently, Tim put together another outstanding performance at the 2024 Australian Swimming Trials, smashing another World Record and securing his spot at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.
Tim has an inspiring journey and an impressive resume which includes appearances at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games, securing 2x silver and a bronze medal in Tokyo, 3x Commonwealth Games medals across the 2018 Gold Coast and 2022 Birmingham Games, and 3x World Championships across 2022 and 2023. Tim also holds four World-Record times in the Men’s 50m Backstroke MC, the Men's 200m IM, the Men's 400m IM, and as a member of the Men’s 4x100m Medley 34pts. A mighty fine list at only 23 years old!
Despite losing his right foot at the age of four, along with other limb differences, Tim is an electric athlete with a relentless drive and competitive fire that has continually placed him at the pinnacle of the swimming world.
In recognition of his passion and dedication, Tim has been awarded the Sport NSW Young Athlete of the Year with a Disability award twice in 2018 and 2021, and 2019’s Sportsperson of the Year at his hometown Blacktown City Sports Awards.
