The Brisbane Lions’ vice-captain and reigning Best & Fairest — a two-time premiership winner with four straight grand finals behind her — she is also the club’s game-day host for men’s AFL matches at the Gabba, working live crowds in the tens of thousands. That combination is rare: current-star credibility plus polished hosting craft. She suits MC and event work, game-day activations, campaign talent and youth-facing programs, and with a contract to 2028 she offers partners a long runway with one of the AFLW’s most marketable personalities.

Renowned for her exuberant, charismatic personality off the field and hard-nosed, gritty play on it, Belle Dawes is a two-time AFLW premiership winner, Brisbane Lions vice-captain and the club’s reigning Best & Fairest — and one of the most natural voices in the game, hosting Lions game days and events with the same energy she brings to the contest.
A local talent from the Sunshine Coast, Belle began her footy career playing in the local youth boys competition, which bolstered the confidence and toughness she exudes today. Belle went on to play for Maroochydore in the QAFLW before signing with the Lions Academy and being drafted 15th overall in the 2019 draft.
Belle never looked back, helping the Lions to the 2021 and 2023 AFLW premierships and four consecutive grand finals. A 2021 Rising Star nominee and AFLPA 22Under22 selection in 2023, she was named All-Australian in 2024, then claimed the club’s 2025 Best & Fairest and a second Best Finals Player award. Vice-captain in 2025 and again in 2026, she is contracted at the Lions until at least the end of 2028.
Off the field, Belle brings that same electric energy to the microphone — game-day host for the Brisbane Lions’ men’s AFL matches at the Gabba, and a charismatic MC for corporate and community events. Self-assured, hardworking and humble, she is an outstanding role model and voice for female athletes across Australia.
