Why brands choose Lee

Book Lee when the event needs energy and the camera needs a natural.

He hosts and presents across The Great Outdoors, Queensland Weekender and Creek to Coast, and runs game days for the Brisbane Heat — a presenter audiences already know from two seasons of Australian Survivor, where he went 55 days to finish runner-up in 2016. Warm, quick and effortlessly unscripted, he is equally at home MC-ing a gala, hosting a brand activation or fronting a campaign. The substance behind the personality: a professional cricket career, a double Masters and a drone company with 6,000 graduates. For partnerships, that is rare range — mainstream recognition, business fluency and a story in every direction.

Profile

About Lee

Lee Carseldine is one of Queensland’s most versatile hosts and media personalities — a familiar face across travel and lifestyle television, Brisbane Heat game days and two seasons of Australian Survivor. Warm, quick-witted and effortlessly unscripted, he brings the same energy to a national broadcast as he does to a room of fifty.

Lee hosts and presents across The Great Outdoors, Queensland Weekender and Creek to Coast, and is the Brisbane Heat’s game-day host at the Gabba. Audiences first met the man beyond the cricketer on Australian Survivor, where he outlasted all but one across 55 days to finish runner-up in 2016, before returning for All Stars in 2020.

Before television, Lee played 132 matches for the Queensland Bulls, winning a Sheffield Shield and fighting back from spinal fusion and a life-threatening infection to be named Queensland’s player of the season in 2008-09 — a comeback that still anchors his speaking work, along with stints for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and in English league cricket.

Off camera, Lee holds an MBA and a Masters of Applied Finance and has built businesses including Droneit Group — a CASA-certified drone training company with more than 6,000 graduates — and media company Norgay Media. He has also helped retired cricketers into their next careers through roles with the Australian Cricketers’ Association and the Bulls Masters program.

Fitness remains a core pillar — marathons, triathlons, the Kokoda Trail, and a 140km trek across K’gari with a 19kg pack for the Stroke Foundation, a cause he has championed since losing his mother to stroke in 2020.
